Refuge Birdhouse A birdhouse in a birdhouse - Refuge is two birdhouses in one. In the Summer, Refuge is two homes, one for bluebirds, and one for chickadees. In the Winter, the houses fit inside each other creating an insulated winter brooding house. October 20, 2012

Twenty One Toys I had the pleasure of interning at Twenty One Toys over the summer of 2012. While there, I became very involved with the Connexions Toy, a toy aimed at teaching empathy and communication. I developed a manufacturing method for making the Connexions Toy out of wood. August 12, 2012

PatchWorks Toy Starting as a Velcro based garment creation kit, PatchWorks evolved into a fabric scene creation toy. A variety of basic and interactive Velcro-backed patches enable the creation of fantastical scenes. Upon completion, the child can don the artwork and show it off. November 14, 2011

Driven Footstool A discarded tire served as the inspiration for this footstool. I worked to incorporate them in a useful and interesting fashion into a piece of furniture. This project was completed as part of my entrance portfolio to Carleton University. March 27, 2009

Triumph Triumph is a table lamp made from 16 gauge sheet steel. It would be equipped with two lights: a bright spotlight that shoots out the top for ambient light, and a small reading light for more directed, and personal lighting. July 28, 2011
